Is Remote MRT and Bioenergetic Balancing Associated with Spiritual Energy Healing Practices and Beliefs?
Disclaimer: I aim to support all of my clients regardless of their personal and spiritual beliefs, and provide a non-judgmental space to encourage physical and emotional wellness through traditional naturopathic practices. The content of this blog is for educational purposes only; it is not intended to treat, cure, diagnose, or replace medical care in any way and only reflects my personal beliefs as it relates to muscle response testing, bioenergetic balancing, and spiritual energy healing practices.
Remote bioenergetic balancing sessions and muscle response testing are NOT related to spiritual energy work/healing/cleansing sessions.
How I understand these modalities
Here's why:
While perhaps not well understood, the best way to think of these modalities is through the lens of related fields of study and examples; neurology, quantum physics, string theory, fMRIs, the extraordinary abilities certain animals have demonstrated (innate geo-location through sensing the electromagnetic activity within the earth's core, abilities to sense imbalances and the onset of disease within humans, vibrational healing, sonar...etc.), communication between plants, the memory of water (as it relates to the imprint of frequencies), human intuition, polygraph technology, quantum scanning analysis, Body and Emotion Code practices (while I do have some qualms about how that modality is practiced, the mechanisms behind it are solid), and a list of clinical studies have demonstrated these principles in relation to both remote muscle response testing and to what I call "bioenergetic balancing" (that is, neutralizing harmful frequency patterns that have imprinted themselves onto cellular memory, influencing imbalances and contributing to symptoms within the body.)
I regularly practice Muscle Response Testing, or applied kinesiology, which is often compared to how a polygraph test measures the signals within the nervous system through the muscles based on activity within the brain in response to external and internal stimuli. I have found this practice is not in disagreement with my personal beliefs as an Orthodox Christian (after years of study) and I also have friends of various Christian backgrounds, including an Assemblies of God minister and an Orthodox Matushka who both are naturopathic professionals and practice/advocate for muscle response testing (including remote testing) as well; in fact, Trinity School of Natural Health, where I graduated from advertises itself as a Christian non-profit organization which is what drew me to enrolling in the first place.
Remote muscle response testing (remote MRT) is compared to "wireless file sharing" between two computers (remember, our brains are the original biological computers) because instead of performing the test for myself, I can perform the same test for another person regardless of distance with impressive accuracy. Anyone can pick this modality up and use it with a methodical approach, and observe the results, so there are no secret rituals or spiritual connections associated with these practices (also to note: I do not ask questions when performing MRT; some do, which I find to be unsettling and a potential misuse of the modality). Taking it a step further, this same methodology can also be applied to bioenergtic balancing - instead of receiving frequency based information on a cellular level, I am able to send neutralizing frequencies to support the trapped imbalances within the cells to myself or others using a modified version of remote MRT. I have practiced this with family, friends, and clients all virtually and have had surprising success (surprising, because I was extremely skeptical at first myself and couldn't believe how simple and effective the process was once I began.)
"If you can help a person help, if you cannot help - pray, if you do not know how to pray - think about the person in a good way! And this will already be a help, because godly thoughts are also a weapon!" - St. Nikolaj Velimirovic
"Kind words are like honey - sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." - Proverbs 16:24
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” - Proverbs 17:22
You can also see these same techniques applied through quantum scanning technology; one such machine being the Qest4, and even through more simplified homeopathic potentizer technology, which can lock onto a person's frequency with a DNA sample or other means of frequency based identification, and transfer remedies or neutralizing signals (or receive basic biological frequency based information) through physical electrodes or across vast distances using the input pad. Remember, everything is frequency including emotions, words, sounds, and thoughts, and frequency is everywhere. Here's a great article on the subject of remote muscle response testing from a more science based perspective, of which has partially influenced my thoughts expressed here (though there are nuances mentioned here that may not directly reflect my personal opinions): https://unlimitedhealthy.com/portfolio/long-distance-muscle-testing-to-support-your-health/
"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9. I find more and more thinking about laws of the universe that were created at the beginning of time... we didn't develop technology out of pure human genius, we only developed that which was already created. In other words, any interfacing technology, processing systems, quantum scanning, data storage, radio transmission...etc. we have, doesn't work the way it works because humanity decided that's how it should work, it works that way because that's the nature of how computing and technology works as it relates to the laws of nature. What are our brains, our bodies? The most complex and advanced biological computer systems in existence. Electricity runs through our hearts, our brains process data and store it at rapid rates, our abilities to compute and learn information are incredible... We are the original computer systems, and God's most beloved creation; everything that exists, in its original form, works together in complementary harmony and within the confines of His design.
Human intuition is also an example of how these principles manifest themselves in our world; I would argue that human intuition is not inherently spiritual in nature - that is to say, intuition can be misleading or wrong (I'm certain we've all experienced this at least once; some may argue it is simply an imbalanced emotional influence causing confusion, but I maintain that intuition is rooted in the physiological nature of our beings - God is not the author of confusion and His ways are higher than our ways). Knowing this, it's also completely possible for intuition to be correct (as I'm also sure we've all experienced as well), and additionally can be spiritually influenced (after all, God can use any biological process to demonstrate His supernatural guidance and mercy in our lives - with God all things are possible). Human intuition, in a balanced state, can lead people to get particular senses about situations, other people, choices, emergencies...etc. that may seem irrational or illogical on the surface, but that can have positive outcomes and provide helpful insights (regardless of the location of the subject).
On the other hand, spiritual energy healing and cleansing modalities are understood to utilize energy fields by using oneself as a spiritual medium, tapping into what's understood as the, "Universal Life Force", or "Source", (some wrongly refer to this as "god"), to promote spiritual and energetic healing or divine mysteries; some modalities that use this type of understanding include Reiki, Yoga, Psychic Healing/Fortune Telling, and even Acupuncture.
I believe "Spiritual energy healing" and Bioenergetic balancing to be completely different both in principle and practice though occasionally they may be mistaken for being one in the same; there are people who do not acknowledge the nuances between the two, which I believe is an error. Some of these modalities can be just as effective without the spiritual connotations because the science is there regardless of which lens you view it with (such as acupuncture, which will still work with the body's natural structure and nervous system even once removed from it's influence of spiritual ideologies). Others, however, can't be separated from the spiritual connections they hold (such as reiki, due to the fact that the only way you can practice this modality is through spiritual attunement by opening your energy field up through a reiki master, so you can tap into, and channel, reiki healing energy with the help of spirit guides and invoking ancient symbols), of which I avoid based on personal conviction.
Some may also attempt to use similar practices to muscle testing called "dowsing" (it's important to note that there are many MRT techniques, and it isn't reliant on any one method) to perform rituals, locate lost items, receive messages from spiritual entities or the deceased, predict the future and divine mysteries, or any other number of psychic and new age practices. Some of these may appear to work only because when you perform any type of muscle response test, or similar test, your own thoughts, emotions, and biases can affect results (and prevent accurate results as well). Remember, even a polygraph test registers emotions and thoughts, along with brain wave activity through the nervous system, whether rightly or wrongly, which can also lead to inaccurate results depending on the quality of the testing itself and the state of the person being monitored.
I am completely comfortable praying and asking God to bless my work and help me with it, but I do not ask God to give me the power to perform these tests as if I'm somehow channeling His energy of my own accord. Seeking out spiritual forces or higher energies, invoking symbols, or using any type of spiritual attunement, spell, or ritual to perform remote muscle response testing, or bio-energetic balancing, is not part of my practice in any way, shape, or form. I do not believe spiritual entities, God, or angelic beings can be controlled, commanded, or used for healing purposes on demand (unless demonic influence is involved), nor do I believe we have innate spiritual healing abilities within us. Those who hold these beliefs may still achieve results (or appear to), not because there is anything inherently spiritual about the legitimate science behind the mechanisms of some of these practices in their most basic form, but because you cannot change the laws of nature. Any true spiritual connections there are in existence with these types of beliefs and their applications are in direct opposition of my personal spiritual beliefs as an active member of the Eastern Orthodox Christian church and as a former minister with the Assemblies of God (of which I am ever thankful for being raised in). I personally view them as dangerous tools of demonic influence and gateways into spiritual darkness and seeking to misuse the gifts God gave us.
I'd also like to add, when I have removed my own bias in an attempt to see if muscle testing can indicate information about the soul, or subconscious (while being willing to accept that it could, in which case I would cease using these two particular modalities all together) these test indications remain neutral - it's not possible! Muscle testing cannot tap into the subconscious mind, nor can it tap into the spiritual realm or provide information about spiritual activity within or around a person. It can't be used to read a person's mind, influence them negatively, control them, or for divination purposes (without the use of what I believe to be true demonic influence); it's also possible a practitioner may just be using language that doesn't reflect the true nature of imbalances when muscle testing, but rather incorrect vocabulary based on influences of their studies and beliefs, and still obtains results despite these misunderstandings.
Just as spellcasting and witchcraft have placed spiritual connections to various principles of herbalism and crystal energies, it doesn't mean that the clinical use of herbs or homeopathic remedies can't be applied outside of these belief systems and practices. The difference in understanding, or language, does not negate the scientific principles (even if not fully fleshed out) that exist within a modality. Muscle response testing and bioenergetic balancing sessions that support the body are no more spiritual than using a Qest4 scanning device, touch based applied kinesiology, or herbs and homeopathy. Furthermore, bioenergetic scanning technology equipment may label frequencies it is able to pick up with spiritual connotations, based on the person who programmed or developed that information, but I believe this is a simple mislabeling, or misunderstanding, of detectable frequencies on a physical level. The remedies used in homeopathy and flower or mineral essences, also are often riddled with descriptions of spiritual benefits which I believe is an error based on spiritual ideologies and beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation, and is not inherently rooted in the modalities themselves. The emotional benefits of a massage, St. John's wort, lion's mane mushrooms, Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy, proper hydration, supporting nutritional deficiency or even the use of the modalities mentioned above, do not equate to the support of spiritual imbalances or spiritual healing. Everything must be used and understood in the proper context so as not to perpetuate the common abuses of these holistic tools.
Last year I was speaking to an acquaintance who shared a story about an elderly relative who believed she was able to accurately perform muscle testing on herself. This misguided woman trusted that the test indicated daily that the only food that was healthy for her to consume was cucumbers. Over time she became malnourished and died, as a direct result of the misuse of muscle response testing due to a lack of true understanding of the modality she believed was helping her. Muscle testing, remote MRT and bioenergetic balancing are not party tricks or magic - there are hard limits to what they're able to accomplish under traditional use and there are many ways to obtain inaccurate results unless you're truly experienced in how they work. You should never put yourself in a position of allowing muscle response testing to influence harm. It's a complementary modality meant to exist within a larger tool kit for general and professional use. It took me two years to learn how to obtain accurate results and how to determine when the results are likely inaccurate, and I have many checks in place I developed on my own to prevent these types of issues; it wasn't an easy overnight process, but took months of dedicated practice and experimentation.
In conclusion, based on my own experiences I believe the only type of true spiritual healing that exists in this world is through prayer, repentance, forgiveness, and seeking God in humility and faith while cultivating a spirit of love and charity towards one another. Any physical or emotional healing we experience on this earth is a divine mercy of God and nothing more, whether that happens directly by His hand through miracles, or through the various modalities and healing techniques He provided us with in accordance with the laws of nature.
